I think this is overrated. Entrance fees were 700 yen for adult, 500 yen for high school students, and 300 yen for middle school and younger. The only thing that really was significant for taking pictures were the replicas of the Easter Island statue. Otherwise there wasn’t really much to see. It was a gloomy day for me so pictures were not that great for me.

Questions & Answers
It is said that it means "viewer" in French, saying "Vowian image". What are you looking at? There are Moai statues just across from them.
Unfortunately I have never been to the first sunrise, so I do not know but the facility will open at 6:30.
Although I have not used it, there were snacks and restaurants in the park.
Outside there are few objects that block the sun, so summer may be tough.
